Peer In is sponsoring a child through

The World Vision Organization

Our child is a 4 yr old little girl named Setsabile Prudence Mhlongo. We have given her the nickname of Koko, because she reminded us of our friend Tiwanna “Koko” Hagans a wonderful, powerful Godly woman and friend of Kim’s who sadly passed away on September 29, 2009, at the age of 37. So Setsabile is nicknamed Koko in memory of Tiwanna.

Koko lives in Swaziland with her parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. At this time Koko is not in school and is in satisfactory health. She likes to play with dolls and help her family by running errands.

Koko lives in a community severely affected by HIV and AIDS. Our contribution helps to provide Koko and her community with the assistance they need to save a generation at risk of being wiped out by HIV and AIDS.

What can you do to help???

  • Please pray for this child, her family, and her community!!!!
  • Assist by donating loose change, which will be added to Peer In’s contribution.
  • You can write letters / draw pictures to let Koko know that you are thinking of her and her family. She will love to hear from you and you should get a response back.
  • Also you can send small gifts (inexpensive items, example: friendship bracelet) that fit into a 6 x 9 in. envelope. (Large packages are prohibited).

*** When writing to this child please use her real name. Please give any donation or other materials to your therapist. ***

Let’s help Koko and her family gain access to basic needs and learn about God’s unconditional love!
